SAFE Spaces
Real conversations • Real support • Real belonging
SAFE Spaces is the community heart of color me SAFE Foundation — an evolving pillar dedicated to connection, community, and emotional well-being, providing early support so families don’t reach a crisis point. These welcoming, culturally responsive circles bring together children, teens, parents, and caregivers to learn, share, and grow in environments rooted in respect and empathy. Above all, SAFE Spaces is a place to be seen and heard, where stories are honored and every voice matters.
This pillar includes signature initiatives such as Ask Auntie! and Hey SAATHI!, along with partnerships with student-led organizations like MannMukti, Keep in Mind, and Pumped Up Cooking. Ask Auntie expanded beyond U.S. borders for the first time through CMSF-facilitated sessions with an orphanage in Uganda, Africa, reflecting our commitment to meeting youth and families wherever the need for safe, supportive spaces exists.
Each SAFE Space is guided by non-judgment, compassion, and confidentiality, allowing participants to speak openly without fear or stigma. At its core is a commitment to child welfare—the whole of a child—strengthening families, nurturing emotional safety, and helping prevent harm before it occurs. When communities feel supported, children are safer, and families are stronger.
